If you have an existing teacher account in eharcourtschool.com, please follow these steps to gain access to your product:

  1. Go to http://www.eharcourtschool.com and enter the user name and password that you previously registered.

  2. Enter the Teacher's Edition ISBN in the white box located in the left side panel. When prompted, enter the Secure Word.

  3. You will then see a registration confirmation screen.

If you do not have a teacher account in www.eharcourtschool.com, please follow these steps to register you and your Students to access your product:

New User Registration for Teachers

  1. Go to http://register.eharcourtschool.com/.

  2. Choose Teacher and Secure Word Email and click Continue Registration.

  3. Enter the required information.

  4. Read the Terms of Use and click I agree.

  5. Select School from the dropdown.

  6. Enter the product ISBN and click on the Next button.

  7. Enter the appropriate ISBN and Security Word (found in the Teacher's Edition as well as in the table above) and complete your product registration.

  8. (You may forward this email to any teachers in your school/district that need to register for these products if they do not have a printed Teacher's Edition.)

In order for students to gain access to content on www.eharcourtschool.com, teachers will need to create classes and then add students to those classes. Refer to the steps below for detailed instructions to create a class and add students:

Add a Class

  1. Go to http://www.eharcourtschool.com to log in if you are not logged in already.

  2. Click the Add a Class button. The Add Class screen will display.

  3. Complete the following items:

    1. Class Name: Type a name for the new class in the Class Name field.

    2. Grade Level: Select the grade level from the dropdown list for Grade Level.

    3. Period and Description: These entries are optional and may be left blank.

    4. ISBN and Product Name: Place a check beside the ISBN (product code) and Product Name for the available program or product to be associated with the class. (If this step is omitted, there will not be a book or product available to the class.)

  4. Click Submit. A review screen will display.

  5. Click Done. The class will be created. Repeat as necessary for additional classes.

Add Students

  1. Click the Add Student button. The Add Student screen displays.

  2. Enter first and last name in the appropriate fields and select the Grade level from the dropdown list, then click Submit to continue. A Review screen will display.

  3. Note: The Student username and password will be assigned by the system.

  4. Click Done. The student will be added. Repeat as necessary for additional students.

Assign Students

  1. Click the Assign Students button to assign students to a class.

  2. Select the desired class from the drop down menu and click Submit. The window opens to display a list of available students (student pool) on the left side of the screen and the selected class on the right side of the screen.

  3. Choose Add All or Add (one student) to place the students from the student pool into the class. The selected students will be modified.

  4. Click Submit. A review screen will display.

  5. Click Done. The students will be added. Repeat as necessary for additional classes and students.
